I have been working professionally in the product design and development industry for 5 years, but have always been a problem solver right back when I played with lego as a child. I got my Bachelor of Design at AUT University and was fortunate enough to win a Gold Pin in the NZ Best Awards for my final year project.

I started out in a small consultancy then worked at Sistema Plastics for nearly 4 years as their lead Product Designer developing a large range of products and working closely with the in house tool designers. I joined the Blender team in September 2020.

I have gained extensive experience in plastic injection moulding, two shot over-moulding and blow moulding over the years. I like to bridge the gap between engineering and good product design. Getting the balance between a product’s functionality and overall aesthetic form can be a challenge, but the most rewarding when done right. I enjoy the entire design process, right from early concept and ideation, through to prototyping and design for manufacture. I love the hands on creativity that comes with product development and am always learning and growing with the Blender team.
