With 5 years design engineering experience developing medical devices for premature babies, I’m familiar with what it takes to design robust, high quality, mass manufactured products. I’m also no stranger to strict standards and regulations, and have developed an annoying level of attention to detail from the complex use environments and sensitive applications encountered in the medical device world.

I get huge satisfaction from seeing ideas become reality, knowing the mammoth amount of teamwork it takes to get an idea from someone’s head to a production line. I was initially attracted to study engineering because of the blend of creativity with practical solutions. I loved the idea of creating useful stuff that also looks cool. Now, my favourite part of the job is realising the impact good design can have, solving real problems for real people.
