I’ve always been fascinated by the products that populate our world, how they work, and how they’re made. From the first biface made by the caveman to modern engineering marvels like the international space station, I believe products are what form the backbone of society. They are born out of functional need, to accelerate human progress; or conceived to make life easier and more enjoyable to live; and it is the designer’s role to guide this development for the betterment of everyone.

This fascination led me to pursue both a Bachelors and Masters degree in design innovation, majoring in industrial design at Victoria University of Wellington.

In my short career so far, I have been privileged to experience the design industry on a world stage; working alongside a multitude of talented individuals in solving just some of the world’s problems, and earning a few accolades of my own. These include winning the A’ Design, Muse, Global Future, and Novum design awards in Italy, United States, India, and France respectively, as well as a few special mentions at the Best, German, and SIT Furniture design awards in New Zealand, Germany, and the United States respectively.

In May 2021, I was honoured with a position in the Blender team, and now specialize in user research and design ideation. I hope to continue advancing my skillset here at Blender and deliver commercially successful products which contribute meaningfully to society.
