Creating an integrated user experience
Futura’s trailers were already world-class, but the control system lagged behind. Two off-the-shelf remotes and exposed wiring inside the toolbox made the experience feel clunky and industrial. For customers investing in high-value cars and a premium trailer, every touchpoint needed to reflect the same attention to detail.
APPROACH

Blender reimagined the customer touchpoints, designing both a single consolidated remote and a refined winch control box:
- The new remote combined all functions into one device with clear symbols, tactile cues, and a ridge between button groups to prevent mistakes.
- Ergonomics were central: pocketable size, comfortable grip, weather protection with rubberised buttons, and a sealed body.
- The winch box replaced exposed wiring with a tidy, labelled interface including switches, volt meter, and charging port, improving both usability and presentation.
