Integ, a leading manufacturer of workspace productivity tools, identified the market need for a solution that enables people to easily adjust their flat screen computer monitors. Existing solutions have a tendency to sag over time, so a new, more innovative product, responsive to market demands was needed.
The aim, in developing a solution, was to provide fingertip vertical screen adjustment, with the versatility to work in a variety of office situations and a variety of international markets. It was essential that the new product fit with the Integ range of monitor arms and maintain their core design values; hence, modularity was a ‘must’.

The Integ Bladerunner utilized Blenders complete workflow from idea through to mass manufactured product. Early design research, for example, highlighted the need for extremely easy movement and solid positioning of the monitor. All findings were valuable insights for the conceptual design & visualisation stages. Once the concept was validated and approved we begun CAD development and engineering to refine the product. This included complex design assemblies and designing for manufacture to produce production drawings to pass onto the offshore manufactures while we provided production support and mediation.
Offering the stability of a fixed monitor arm, combined with effortless vertical movement, Integ Bladerunner is geared towards optimum ergonomic conditions and health and safety standards, enabling the user to effortlessly adjust their monitor without leaving their chair. With one touch, Integ Bladerunner allows fluid and stable movement of any screen attached, redefining the relationship we have with our hardware. As with other Integ products, Integ Bladerunner is fully modular, and can be attached as part of a solution to support a laptop also.
